Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) has introduced its AI Impact Framework, aiming to provide a comprehensive method to evaluate the tangible business outcomes derived from artificial intelligence implementations. This framework seeks to address a common issue faced by organizations that invest in AI: the difficulty in distinguishing between routine AI-assisted operations and those innovations that significantly enhance productivity, automate processes, or offer reusable capabilities across different teams.
The AI Impact Framework requires employees to provide evidence of AI-enabled work completed over the past six months. This evidence can include production code, custom AI agents, automated testing systems, delivery pipelines, large-scale migrations, internal tools, and reusable systems. Notably, self-reported or hypothetical AI capabilities are excluded from the evaluation process.
The framework employs a multi-agent evaluation system where submitted evidence is assessed by an evaluator. An adversarial agent then challenges any unsupported claims, while a referee reviews both assessments to determine a final score. Human managers and project leaders validate the results, and any disputed assessments are subject to further review.
Participants in the program are categorized into four AI maturity levels, ranging from minimal AI integration to full capability to develop and operate AI agents, automated workflows, and reusable systems with significant organizational impact. GAP has also implemented the framework internally to identify capability gaps among employees and create personalized development plans. As of July 2026, the company reported that approximately 41% of its workforce had achieved Level 3, while about 48% were at Level 2.
The introduction of this framework is intended to establish measurable baselines, identify development needs, and support organizations in transitioning from basic AI adoption to more autonomous and impactful operations. GAP’s initiative represents a strategic effort to enhance the effectiveness and impact of AI technologies within organizations.
